Our manufactory stands for first-class laser welding, which is at the heart of our services.

Maximum stability and tightness during laser welding

Using state-of-the-art equipment, we weld your components with low distortion, absolute tightness and maximum strength, even with the smallest seam cross-sections. Particularly high-quality and sensitive components are precisely welded in our ISO class 8-certified clean room.

Another aspect of our laser welding expertise is welding with filler material or innovative hybrid welding (laser TIG welding), which we offer in cooperation with a proven and qualified partner company. Our specialty is the production of the finest laser welding seams with a minimal heat-affected zone.

Our factory is geared towards welding a wide range of different materials, including non- ferrous metals, alloys, weldable steels and various stainless steels.

In our RJ laser manufactory, we attach great importance to multi-stage quality controls. These include metallographic quality tests for microscopic microstructure assessment as well as helium leak tests and pressure and pressure drop tests. This ensures that the previously defined product properties are maintained during series production.

Our laser welding experts are available to provide you with comprehensive advice before the start of series production. We also offer you the opportunity to manufacture a sample part to check and plan the production processes

We can offer you the following tolerances and laser welding specifications:

  • Weld seam widths from 0.1 to 1.0 mm without filler material
  • Welding depths from 0.1 to 2.0 mm
  • Version with pulsed and continuous laser radiation
  • Welding in direct beam or modulated with scanner
  • Rework-free weld seams
  • Minimal heat-affected zone for adjacent sensitive components
  • Weld seam testing with cross-sections and microscopy

Exemplary application for laser welding in our manufactory

We implement the most diverse requirements in our production. We are proficient in both 2D and 3D welding. We are also able to process highly complex geometries such as intricate grid structures or precision mechanical components. Our machinery also enables us to process a wide variety of materials.

In addition to series production, we also offer the execution of test series and the production of sample welds.
